How to Prepare?

Prepare the Instant Mix

Mix 1/2 packet of instant jowar idli with enough water to make a smooth batter. Ensure there are no lumps, and let it stand for 5 minutes. 

Making Instant Jowar Idli

Allow the batter to settle for 10-15 minutes for a slight fermentation process.

Steaming the Idlis

Grease the idli moulds with oil. Pour the batter into the moulds and steam for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Serve Hot

After cooking, allow the idlis to cool for a few minutes to ensure they set correctly. Once they have cooled slightly, gently remove them from the moulds using a spoon, taking care not to break them apart. Serve hot idlis with chutney and sambar for a delicious meal.
